In Asia since 1996, John's expertise in Taiwan and China electronics product development and manufacturing was developed by managing multi-million dollar OEM contract manufacturing accounts in the region for multi-national giants such as Tyco Electronics, Intel, Nokia, and 3COM. Highly experienced at supporting global companies from Greater China, John is an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, the University of Western Ontario, and is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.

Ulrich Ruess | Chief Engineer

Ulrich's 20 years of experience in Taiwan and China product development and manufacturing include managing Taiwan and Korean marine electronics operations for AEG-Telefunken and then heading purchasing operations at Siemens in Taiwan. Ulrich is expert at engineering products for manufacturing in the manual and partially automated assembly environment found in Taiwan and China. Ulrich has an Ms in EE/Telecom from Stuttgart and is fluent in English, German and Mandarin Chinese.

Derek Smith | Mobile Technologies

Derek has deployed enterprise level hardware and software systems for firms in Europe and Asia for the past 15 years. Derek's special expertise is centred on integrated systems design and development for the banking, wireless telecommunications, retail, and wireless POS industries. Derek has led such developments in key positions ranging from software engineer to Chief Technical Officer both in Europe and in China and is a specialist in electronic payment infrastructure.

Nicolas Uloth | Wireless Technologies

Nicholas has over 15 years experience developing mission-critical industrial and telecom systems for firms in Australia, Europe and Greater China, including Telstra, Mount Newman Mining, Australian Gaslight, The Roechling Group, Hutchison Telecom and Hong Kong International Terminals. Nicholas brings a wealth of knowledge in industrial wireless technologies and expertise in managing development in multinational teams to reduce technical risks for customers.

Joseph Tyner | Product & Systems Development

Joseph has been designing, integrating and leading teams producing digital products for over 20 years in management roles with private and public international companies including Digi International, StorageTek and Tellabs. With focus on engineering and product development, Joseph's product area experience includes operating systems, telecommunications, storage area networks and real time environments. Joseph holds a BSci in Multidiscipline Computer Science from Michigan State University.
