Project Scope
Background
Frustrated with the hassle of lost keys and the expense of locksmiths during previous tournaments, IMG installed RFID locks. The SYNOTAG 338H-MF RFID Locker Lock was chosen for its mix of quality, performance, price and fast delivery. Locks were installed in the 350 lockers that were delivered to the 2019 Miami Open Tennis Tournament and used by pro tennis players from around the world to secure their equipment and valuables.
Application
The SYNOTAG 338H-MF RFID Locker Lock was installed as a standalone fixed system across the 350 wooden lockers that were custom built by a custom millwork vendor for the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. Our F08 RFID cards, blank with a hole punched in one end and hung on lanyards, were distributed to each tennis player and staff member in the tournament and used as secure credentials to open and secure the lockers.
